Doctor Wu has been together since the year 2000. We are an 11-piece Los Angeles-based band with 3 backing vocals, 4 rhythm and 4 horns, fronted by lead singer Anthony Egan.

Doctor Wu shows consist of fan-favorite Steely Dan smash hits, their groovy lyric-driven songs as well as full album shows. (Gaucho, AJA, The Royal Scam, The Nightfly, Alive In America...)  Every song is handled with meticulous attention to detail - from the slick vocal harmonies, edgy jazz/rock rhythm grooves and smokin' guitar leads, to the 4-piece Malibu Horns. Wu recreates the textures and authenticity of Steely Dan's music.  

With appearances from San Diego to the Santa Ynez Valley - Palm Springs to Vegas and beyond, and as regulars at Herb Alpert's Vibrato, SoHO, Bogie's Westlake Village, The Santa Monica Summer SOULstice Music Festival, The Solvang Summer Concert Series, Pt. Loma Music Festival and more, we've earned a lot of die-hard Wu Fans.
